He's not even sure he wants to go. Wouldn't it be funny if he doesn't show up!

Disclaimer: I'm a pretty nice guy. I don't bash people on here for their looks, their attitudes, their opinions or anything like that. I have no problems losing. But this--THIS is bullshit.

Until now, I had the highest regard towards the owner(s) of this website because I met one of them by total accident about three years ago. I was working at Apple and sold an iPhone to one of the co-owners of the website. Great guy, nice guy. Won't put all his business out there but in my head, I'm thinking: "Wow, this guy created this really awesome website that has just taken off." I thought it was a great entrepreneurial success story. I was beaming at the end because we had such a great conversation about the website, I shared my Manhunt.net modeling story with him and how I found myself in an ad ON this website. It was just so so funny.

Now? I've lost total respect for the operators/owners of this website. Not because I didn't win. I wasn't expecting to. Rather, the website touts the idea of becoming verified but yet, decided to select a profile of someone who isn't. I can get over the fact that he's headless and faceless but...unverified? It screams hypocrisy. For all we know, this dude could be some f...hag who likes talking to gay dudes and her ass just won a free trip to hang out with more.

Okay. I'm off my soap box now. icon_rolleyes.gif

Fake profile = fake contest? It would be easy to think so. But admin made the terms clear up front - it was a random drawing, so an unverified pictureless empty profile with an emoticon for an entry would stand an equal chance of winning. Unless multiple entries were counted - then anyone who spammed that forum the most would've been an odds on favorite. I sure didn't write my entry with any expectation of winning, just felt like sharing.

Wasn't the prerequisite to write about an experience from pride? If the winner never attended pride, then technically he's disqualified.

Also, this thread will probably get deleted. icon_lol.gif
