Going to live in LA- need info

    Hey guys...going to live in LA for a short time towards year end..approx 4 months....Just wanted to know the cost of living....is public transport good enough?can do without car? rental rates etc...? living on a tight budget...so...any tips....flatshare info.. welcome...what to expect..city info ?...first time in US...

    Need more info. How much you expecting to spend on rent? Traffic is awful here. So it's usually a good idea to live closer to where you will be going to work/school. What part of LA will were you looking into staying?
