Ahh, the good old "we must protect children's rights" argument. So at least 50% of those people are on the waiting list to adopt "endangered children" right? One should note that most of the "endangered children" that gays are trying to adopt were abandoned by their straight, heterosexual parents. And nearly half of the straights who respect the "sanctity" of marriage, fuck it up themselves and divorce... some being so shitty that they divorce multiple times.

Bigotry is bigotry, no matter what argument one uses to support it. To me, instead of them adopting the color pink for family rights, they should've chosen brown... for bullshit.

and 100-200 anti-marriage equality protesters pushed onto Champs Elysees, to be met by riot police pushing back and eventually using tear gas on some --- some who also had brought their children into the risk zone of the protest and violation of the march permit prohibitions to go onto the Champs Elysees -- and now will most likely be screaming "victims" of police unnecessary force and endangering children with tear gas....

Same tactics used by Taliban, Al Queda, and terrorists - to use children as human shields. Disgusting. But predictable. More outrage and public statements from the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) and Family Research Council and other anti-marriage equality groups here in the States about religious rights, harm to children through same sex marriage, victimization of the faithful, etc. in 3-2-1....

I would be right there with them.

People need to get the facts right instead of having companies like the United Postal Service of New Jersey take our respectful civil unions and not recognize the rights therein until we re-titled civil unions as gay marriage.

Some men who have sex with men don't even identify themselves as gay.

Sure the discreet (and the discrete [sic]) ones aren't looking for marriage, civil unions, domestic partnership, dating or even ONE string--No Strings Attached (NSA).

I would be right there with a sign:

    Recognize Civil Unions
    No Gay Marriage

Gay marriage in the glorious cathedrals of France? No wonder they are in the streets.

In the Unitarian Church of Dallas this morning we were talking about the importance of the language used in conversations. Businesses, Corporations, and Politics have to stop corrupting our culture. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Civil unions are for everybody. Religious unions are for everybody.

You think the Republicans are bad assed fag haters? The British Commonwealth countries have the worst reputation on gay rights. Most have death penalties for dreaming about cock.

I believe it's because Americans have an idea of French (or even European) being very airy and fluttery. If you're a man and resemble a European then you give off that you are "fashion conscious" and being fashionably conscious must mean that you're gay. Therefore, it translates back to that the average European must also be gay.

And, Francoshells, social infrastructure set by businesses and corporations are of dubious quality. Leave social infrastructure to sociologists. The corruption of civil unions by the United Postal Service refusal to recognize the rights of gays and lesbians with civil unions corrupted the better engineered civil unions.
