hmm... I'll give that a try next time. But I dunno - usually it's my grip that limits deadlifts. Looks like this guy could have kept going if he wore gloves.

FWIW, the last week of the RealJock muscle-building workout calls for something like 120 pull-ups in a row icon_eek.gif
(Actually, some of them are supposed to be toy-assisted, but if you don't have the toys, they're all just pull-ups.)

Just keep doing what you can do and don't worry about it. Before you know it, that will build up to 20.

I can do only 8 now that I will soon be 75 years olde. However, when I was younger, I could do about 22 without stopping. At that time, I could do 10 repetitions on the lat pull-down with 210 pounds; now I can do only 9 repetitions with 140 pounds.

    I was about the same

I could only do about 7.
Worked my way up to 10
Now I can rarely ever get past 13.

    I'm probably just impatient.

Oh and the guy in the video. Fuck me.

The dude in the video has another video where he believes that homosexuality is a choice and gay people can become straight. He has a great body and does some good exercises, but personally I cannot support or like videos of people who have such ignorant views on homosexuality.

It's a helluva lot easier doing pullups at 150 than 250 lbs.

In my Navy days, I knew a guy who could do 50 pull-ups without resting and without compromising form. He impressed me; the young lad in this video does not.

Nowadays, I can still do 20 pull-ups without resting, though my form sucks after 15.
