Last night while looking on Grindr, I come across one of my best friends younger brother. Which comes as a complete shock to me, since in all the time I've known him, I never knew he was gay.

Regardless, I am torn as to whether or not I should tell his sister, my friend. My major concern is that some guy will take advantage of him. He really shouldn't be on Grindr, because he isn't even 18 yet.

At the same time, I understand his urge to explore and respect his privacy. Should I instead approach him? and offer him someone to talk to if he needs to/ wants to?

    What to do?

You definitely don't wan't to out him...!!

..If you feel the need to do something..keep a concerned eye on him from a DISTANCE! while Respecting his Privacy.

..He probably can handle himself just fine anyway..!!

pretty much. outting people that aren't out yet is NOT cool. that's the worst thing you can do to a guy that's in the closet that is not ready to come out. as a gay man, you should know where he's coming from.

haha all good advice. I know outing someone is not cool at all. Thats why I tread lightly haha..

Thanks guys. I think I will let it be. If he wants to talk to me, I am sure he knows he can. icon_smile.gif
