I know I might be attacked for saying this, but I am getting a lot more looks from men and women when I talk now because of the wear, tear, and stretching bulimia gave to my voice box.

I now don't purge for weight, I purge simply because I like what it does to my voice.

For the first time in my life I can make my voice "boom"

Are you being serious? Do you even know what purging food actually does besides the so called "boom" in your voice? The acid from your stomach goes with the food you throw up. The acid damages the lining of the esophagus and if it reaches the blood vessels, lots of pain and bleeding results. Furthermore, residual acid lingers in the mouth. This is why people with bulimics have eroded teeth, sores in their mouths and bad breath!

But hey, it's your health and your choice! Do as you please!

Yes, you did care enough to respond :-) Thanks...

And no, I'm serious. Not encouraging anyone to try it, but it happened.
