I think that's the operable word here: "franchise".
This reflects no pro-gay position from corporate HQ, nor the homophobic CEO Dan Cathy, and the attitude of any other franchises. Because despite the good intentions of this Rancho Cucamonga location, a portion of their profits still funds the anti-gay efforts of Cathy.
I hope I'll never choose cuisine over convictions, selfishness over selflessness. Let the homophobes enjoy their Chic-Fil-A - they invite an earlier death with every bite of that unhealthy crap.

"cuisine" That's a bit of an overstatement.
Correct it's a franchisee, a small business owner exercising his free speech rights which may or may not agree with corporate. I don't see an issue with this, but I do try to stay away from this place and Cain's and Popeye's. I spend way too much time in the gym to ruin it all in 15 minutes.

I was trying to be alliterative. I agree, fast food can never be considered cuisine, except in the most general sense.
And fast food is poison. I eat it very seldom, always when I'm driving and pull off at an Interstate exit, looking for a place when I can refuel myself as quickly as I refuel the car. We never go near those places except when we're driving on a long trip. And even then we've marked out legitimate restaurants where we like to stop, along routes we regularly travel. Fast food is our last resort.

That appreciation day was an event to show opposition to gays. How can you be a member of RJ, when you always oppose gay civil rights & issues?
You hate gays, except for your own selfish sexual (and culinary) enjoyment. You take sexual pleasure from gays, but vote to continue our oppression and second-class status in the US. Please explain.

I have a few hundred times.
"You take sexual pleasure from gays "
Not hardly.

freedomisntfree saidI agree with you 100%. You avoiding Chickfila and other fast food poison parlors is very good, sound thinking. Just a couple bites of that poisoned, processed garbage could ruin a months hard work in the gym for anyone.ART_DECO said"...owner and operator of a [Chic-Fil-A] franchise in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif."

CFA are not traditional franchises. The "owner/operator" contract actually reads more like a complicated employment contract than a franchise contract. Very different than buying a typical fast food franchise.

Despite all the goodwill expressed by all of us to Mr. Deco during his recent "stressful episode" he is once again on the offensive (in more than one sense). To state that an RJ member - who you have never met - "hates gays" is extreme, provocative and hate speech against said RJ member. This type of behavior should not be tolerated by the admin, nor should it be allowed to "let slide" by any RJ member reading this.

IMO two most commonly used words by the left are 'hate' and 'liar'. I don't hate anyone.
TroyAthlete saidThe house gays who supported Hate-fil-A on their 'hate the gays' appreciation day must be furious at this owner. Sad when a Chick-fil-A owner is more supportive of gays than some gay people on this website.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but my concern was genuine - I can't imagine the stress and worry you went through, let alone the anxiety your husband was dealing with.

You're an idiot. I don't see a leftie equivelent to WBC, but then you delusional rightwingers make up so much shit I don't even think you believe what oozes out of your mouth.
Art's point was well taken: your overt support (rubbing our noses in it even) of Chick-Fil-A on a gay site is trolling pretty hard. I don't actually get why a breeder like you even wants to be on a site like this. Leave any time you want.

That's something I wouldn't know. If that's the case, is this California CFA owner gonna be in trouble with the corporation, for acting in a gay-friendly way in defiance of homophobic CEO Cathy?

I think that may be true about you. One of the reasons I get along with you better than southbeach1500. Not to mention our shared interest in classic cars.
Whose concern about my sick husband was a transparent ruse meant to make him look sympathetic. Considering how he violated my guy's privacy on this site in the past and then had his posts removed because of it by Admin, it was a rather sick joke.
It made me retch to see him expressing phony concern for my husband when he had done so much to hurt him in the past. But don't rely upon me - I'm sure others here will remember what he's done before to pain him, a way of getting at me, as will Admin.
