    That bad, huh?

I like a good action movie but the first G.I. Joe was utterly forgettable. Bland, generic action all the way. If this is actually worse, I'll be avoiding it.

And it must be said... Channing Tatum has the personality and charisma of a brick icon_biggrin.gif (though I guess he's not bad to look at, lol)

I thought they remade it for Channing Tatum or something. . . . he's a handsome bloke but I just don't see the wide obsession with him his acting doesn't seem incredibly strong . . .

OMG thank you! Most people here adore Channing Tatum. I know he is easy on the eyes, but the dude couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. He should stick to stripping.

    Watched it day before yesterday!
Same old story...Déjà vu, easily predictable.
& to me, the background music made it worse.
neither boring nor interesting...of all, only kids can enjoy most.

If any of you want to see for Channing Tatum...get ready to be disappointed!

Didn't you watch the first movie? I did and that was enough to convince me not to watch the sequel.

Why buy a ticket in the first place? Were you high?

Doesn't this star Channing Tatum? I have a sack of potatoes that can "act" better than Channing Tatum.

Unless the sign outside specifically said 'this motion picture will be presented in MUTE" you should have known better.

Maybe you should go cleanse the palate by watching Lincoln.

I'm not surprised! The first movie was boring and I can't name a great movie, starring the Rock.

Don't see the appeal of the series the first one was garbage and not worth mentioning so no point in wasting money on the second

I enjoyed the first movie for what it was. A pleasant enough action movie on Netflix. Can't see myself buying a ticket for this one. Will wait for it on Netflix.

Besides I haven't seen Oz the Great and Powerful and that's a movie I want to see.

Gridiron Gang, Get Smart, The Other Guys, The Scorpion King was pretty good too. Just my opinion though.

These movies named after toys and board games are getting out of hand. Transformers, then Battleship and G.I. Joe. There is actually a Candy Land movie in the works, starring Adam Sandler.

I know people who have met Channing Tatum, they say he is nice, but he sounds vapid and lacks intelligence....big time.

Sounds like I'll love this movie then, loved every single Hasbro movie made, G.I. Joe 1, Transformers 1,2,3 and Battleship. Just give me guns explosions and pretty girls. And Jon M. Chu director of Step up 2 and 3 directed this movie so it'll be AWESOME! icon_biggrin.gif And then Fast 6 comes out in a couple of months that will destroy every movie ever made.

I'll wait for the video, that way I can use my three favorite remote control features for Chan Tatum's movies: The SLOW-MO button, the PAUSE button, and, most importantly, the MUTE button. icon_lol.gif The Rock, you get some of this action, too! icon_razz.gif

Magic Mike was shit, too. Worst direction I've ever seen. And I've seen some pretty shitty E list films.

Know the titles of any off-hand?

Just went with some buddies...we all seemed to enjoy it. I think you go to movies like that expecting unrealistic fight scenes, ridiculous explosions, and big loud guns. If you went in expecting to see something on par with Les Miserables or Black Swan, you're a idiot. This thread is about as ridiculous as Jessica Alba winning an Oscar.
