The STOP AIDS Project and Elbow Grease are having their Fourth Annual Queens Are Wild event on Friday, October 24, 2008. I’m one of the 7 Card Stud hosts for this year’s event.

Halloween in the Castro has been canceled but that doesn't mean the party has to end. Escape the outside world with hundreds of others for an evening of casino games, dancing with DJ Matt Consola, costumes, and the kinds of surprises you hope to have during the Halloween season. Not to mention that this year’s event is in the Castro and will feature several highly themed rooms which make this a unique event that you have to see and experience in person.

Porn star and other celebrity dealers will entertain you at the blackjack tables. Or try your hand at poker, roulette and craps. Win prizes in the raffle or for having the best Halloween costume. Indulge your compulsion for sweets at the dessert table, take something unexpected home from the silent auction, and show your capacity for appropriate restraint at the no-host bar. (Free glass of wine for coming in costume).

Tickets start at $50. They expect that Queens Are Wild will sell out this year, so don't delay. Order yours now by visiting their website at http://stopaids.org/queensarewild. Be sure to select my name in the drop down box that lists the hosts so that I can get closer to hitting lucky number 7. I can’t wait for this year’s party and hope you can join me. Don't miss out on Queens are Wild: San Francisco's newest Halloween tradition.

See you there!
