Have you experienced anything odd at the gym? Here's my story for you!

I live in an apartment complex and workout fairly regularly at an in house gym (its quite small). Today I stopped in and there was only one other guy working out. I've seen him in there once before but he appeared to be finishing an ab workout and wasn't there for long. He's extremely good looking. Tan, muscled, wears tank tops, etc (gaydar ding ding). People would probably consider him a 10/10. Beyond my league. Anyways you get the idea.

Here's the odd part. I worked out for about a full hour today. He was already in there when I got there. I got a good chuckle to myself because he was wearing one of those ghetto backwards caps (at the gym?!?!) During this time, I think I saw him doing about 5 minutes of actually working out (doing abs). The rest of the time he was playing with his phone. We also have this small whiteboard in our working area. Twice during my time there he stared as his phone, wrote a statement in spanish and walked away (he's white, and cleary didn't speak spanish because he was looking at his phone, guessing a translation, while he wrote it down). I can't deny I secretly wanted him to leave so I could write down what he wrote and get it translated myself. He would then come back later and erase it. Again I was the only one in the workout area with him.

WTF was he doing? I can't fathom how someone that looks as good as him can be that unfocused while working out. And before you say it... yes I was focused on what I was doing. I just got distracted by a good looking guy doing weird shit icon_lol.gif

Odd gym stories? I could write a book!

Look, the first time something weird happened to me at a gym was when they hired this good looking trainer. Indeed, pretty much like your case: out of my league!
Well, it turns out the guy started talking to me out of the blue. And I didn't even know why. After all, I was the most serious man in that gym! He seemed just as serious as me, but the more we talked, the more relaxed we felt.
One afternoon the gym was empty, except for the two of us. He asked me if I felt stressed out because I looked that way. He offered me a chance to relax by doing what he told me to. I agreed.
I lay on a mat face upwards and he began talking. It was like a yoga thing... I guess, because I've never been to a yoga class... He told me to relax, to forget about stuff, to tell him if I could feel like I was flying... I wasn't. And I told him.
He said it was because I had some trouble. He asked me if it was related to sex... I can't remember what I said, but we started taking about that...
When the pseudo-session was over and we met up again, he talked to me about his girls and their adventures. He asked me about mine, and I just didn't say a thing. I felt he grew curious about me. Sometimes when we touched the gay issue he would look at me a lot. I was like, WTF, what's going on?!
I came over his house one day and there was a lot of tension, yet nothing ever happened.
I have more stories but I'm tired now.

I was at the gym, doing leg presses, and then the roof began to rain.
Basketball court above was flooded. Workout cancelled.

    ^^Classic closet cruiser. YCYL

I was at the gym one, on one of the benches, just finished a set and was taking a rest before moving on to the next one, when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look up and see my teacher (I'm in school now). It was kind of weird but we just exchanged pleasantries and I thought not much more of it. But then he decided to sit on the bench next to me and start his free presses which was what I was about to move on to. So I started doing mine. Then he moved up in weight. Then I did. And we just kept going back and forth, not acknowledging each other but in silent competition, not what I expected from my professor lol

    Odd?

I was working out at my gym one day, and an old man doing cardio on a stationary bike fell off. We ran over to help him, but there wasn't too much we could do because he died of a massive heart attack.

The ambulance was called, but he was already dead, and at his age, they didn't really rush. They came in, picked up the body off of the floor, covered him with the a sheet and carried him out. It was odd because they didn't rush him to the hospital, thinking they could resuscitate him, but I guess when you're that age, they figured there wasn't anything they could do to help or bring him back. It was sad and surreal, at the same time, to see someone die in front of you, especially someone you see on a daily basis.

Guy messaged me on gay.com randomly (around 2005 or so - way back in the day) commenting on a sit-up exercise I was doing at my college rec center. Described to a T my outfit and what I was doing. Was very creepy - he was quickly blocked. I guess that's somewhat odd.

One guy started jacking off in the shower, staring at me (we were alone)

Another day, when i was in the middle of my workout session, this guy offered me 30$ for each piece of clothing i was wearing in that moment...

Nedless to say, they were oldies that seem to hang out just to hit on guys.

    seriously considering changing gym.

One thing that comes to mind is this 50-55+ year old man that goes to my gym with EXTREMELY revealing tanks, showing his 'pecs' which seem like he did steroids when younger then stopped working out and they've deflated and sag.

His looks are weird enough, because of his attire, his dyed blonde suave hair, and just everything he does; however, there's more. This guy works out in such a WEIRD way. If he's doing, say, cable flyes, it will literally take him 30 seconds to complete one rep, he goes that slow. Not one set, one rep. He does it in a sensual/sexual-type manner, it's reaaaally disturbing. He does it almost in a diving motion, then coming up from the dive and pushing his chest out, all with his eyes closed throughout. It's almost like a mix of yoga and weight training, and he uses really light weight... I have NO idea what type of workouts he does, but it is weird as hell. Creepy.

And he smiles at me all the time when he's passes by my...

As in a smirk not just a friendly smile, it just adds to the weird-ness of his workouts.

I had an awkward gym shower moment once. As I was placing my boxer-briefs over the stall divider, it slides off into the other stall. I peek into stall where it fell and there was a guy showering so I swooped away. I didn't know what to do so I waited. A few seconds later I see a hand holding my boxer-briefs. icon_redface.gif

It's just a guess, but I'd say that he would had to have been in the eighties + range.

    Hmm.
Well once I was working out right before closing time, so the gym was deserted, maybe three of us in the whole place. I went up to the circuit training area and was hitting the machines when I hear someone say, "Naw bro, I need you to help me oil and take pictures." I was absolutely sure I had heard that wrong, so I didn't pay much attention to the guy coming up the stairs and going into the group exercise area.
There a a few large windows looking in that gave me a pretty complete view of the room, but I'm not really paying attention yet. I do notice that some girl singer starts crooning something sensual, being blasted from inside which makes me chuckle. The guy was solid muscle, didn't think it would be his...Holy shit hes taking off his clothes.
He strips down to a tiny very flattering pair of black trunks and begins to go through a body builder pose routine, flexing for well over twenty minutes in various poses, and damn was trhis guy into it. I was torn between laughing and being turned on, and trying desperately not to stare...especially because he was facing a mirror and looked over if I so much as flicked my eyes in his direction.
I was toying with the idea of offering to take the place of whoever he called to oil him up and play photographer, but I chose life.

At my gym I've seen Joey Lawrence and his brother. Also, Michael Bergin naked in the lockerroom as well as Eric Niece drying off his back and flexing his abs for everyone in the lockerroom to see.
