Update to annoying travel agent =)

    Here is the first long ass post about what happened.

    Anyway so I contested about the changing of terms and conditions as my main point in case.
    They had sent me one set of terms and conditions to which I then was trying to get something done according to the set T&C's they gave me.
    Then they went ahead and finalised things ahead of time and sent me changed T&C's where they removed the T&C that allowed me to make a date change for the holiday.

    So in short I got a letter from the head honcho where they gave me a full refund of the purchase but I still have the plane ticket and accommodation that came with the package still booked, which I confirmed with the airline and hotel =)

    Basically I just scored an almost free holiday hahaha woohoo!
    Anyway just felt like posting this since it's the first time I've ever 'won' something lol.

    Well it was more a travel agency company that specialised in flight package deals.
    I was having a particular problem with the person who was dealing with my purchase so I just presumed you'd call them a travel agent.

    and it'd be best to call the agent or who ever it is and let them know of this problem so they you aren't cheating them outta money.

    They know about it. I spoke to them directly about it first to see if it could be handled without any major fuss.
    It was the agent that went ahead and finalised things while I was still trying to get things changed.

    Pretty much they said they'd let the team leader know because they weren't at work the day I called up about this (which I think was bullcrap but I didn't argue that), then 3 days later I got a booking advice with everything finalised and altered T&C's so that's when I got annoyed.

    Sometimes it pays to stand up to people when you know you're right and sometime they do the right thing to maintain a good relationship with their customers. Good for you! Have fun.
