Has anyone used the Hanson marathon program to train for their marathon? I've been reading quite a bit about it but I have found little feedback from people who have actually used it. Thoughts?

Yes, I've used the Hanson Marathod Method for the past few years. It works for me as I set personal bests & Boston qualifying times. The down side of this program for me is that it discourages cross-training so I need to back off from triathlon training at the same time.

Personally if I has to pick a program it would be Pfitzinger.

Of course, I've always opted for the simple: run as many miles as you can without breaking, never increase mileage by more than 10% per week, and gradually add intensity as the race draws closer.

How do you up your mileage when you have a set # you always break at. I can get to a 35 mpw average, then I get injured. Slow down? Doubles?
