The show opened with a man over 95 walking the London marathon.

Then, there was a guy who ate fruit for breakfast but when he eats an apple, he mostly eats only the skin because he says the inside of the apple is sugar and the skin has the nutrients.

This same guy, over 45(?) could stand on one foot for 30 seconds but the Michael Mosley who was not on calorie restriction, he cannot stand on one foot (with his eyes clothes?). The ear can lose its integrity as we age. Calorie restriction helps.

It's on KERA a PBS station. When I googled Michael Mosley, he comes up on BBC, too.

    IGF-1 reduction reduces disease.

The program says meat protein can put your body in Go! Go! mode. (They drive a Ferrari to drive the point home.)

Fasting stresses your brain cells the way exercise stresses your muscles.

Alternate day fasting is better on the health of the brain than daily calorie restriction.

Tomatoes are ripened with Ethelene gas? They are shipped green and ripened with gas?

(Food Inc is next up on KERA.)

I can stand on one foot indefinitely, so maybe I should push MY diet as being the best.
