I wouldn't get too excited.. the two leaders of the main political parties in Oz are both quite against same sex marriage. Get rid of both of them, and we may have a chance.

But we'll move back 20 years if Abbott gets in. Don't see much happening for a few years at least.

Sad thing is that Gillard has made Labour the same as the Libs, so what's the difference, really about either being PM? To me it's worse having someone who should know better but has her head in the sand.

I don't get why people hang on to Labour when they constantly betray social and economic justice issues.

Hows about a new party? The Greens will never hold government in this country, Labor isn't Labor anymore, The Liberals....yeah we don't need to go there. I think a new political party to replace or at least scare the ALP back into being a Social Democratic party might help.

All I have to say is, Julia you're not even married, you hypocritical c** icon_lol.gif. She has dipped the Labor party down the drain. Now I'm very scared to have Abbott fill the spotlight in September as he's ten times worse in gay rights

It's great to see videos where people actually engage in discussions with arguments, which is the best way!

She is, but shes a lot better then Abbott

In Australia we vote to prevent the one we dont want getting in and Gillard The Retard is the less scary of the two!

Although I'll vote greens anyway which end up on Gillards rack.

Maybe if we as a people could somehow get the Federal Senate to be more of what is was designed to be we may have a chance,

    vote independant in the Senate!

Australian Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has conceded that he cannot stop his party from eventually supporting marriage equality despite his personal opposition on the issue

Oh how true are your words - anything but that TOOL! Gillard may not be ideal but we will be back to the 50s if the other gets in.
