The most annoying types are the ones who don't rack their weights, don't wipe down their equipment, and don't wash their hands when they take a piss in the locker room.

    They all must die!

Good God that author is so judgemental and his article reeks of insecurity! I don't know why he's so threatened by strong men and women, people new to the gym, men and women who use headphones, or people increasing the incline on a treadmill.

The person that sits on a weight machine while others are waiting to use the equipment. Total jerk!

Kids who cluster together and commit two of the annoying peeves. Waste time talking and staring themselves up in mirrors then hogging series of equipment.

Trying to reason or talk with these flocks of high schoolers is tough because I don't speak bro language.

The old guys who use the hand-held blow dryers in the locker room to dry their balls.

People who complain about other people are generally the most annoying people.
Thankfully I'm not subjected to that at the gym.

funny enough most of them go to my gym the hoarder in particular a 40 something yr old guy who uses all the equipemnt, be it a treadmill, the crosstrainer, the step machine the rower everything at once, between 6 and 7 (the busiest period). i have started going at 7:30 so i can miss the bastard/!

the guy that shows off his abs is also found at my gym
and the lady who walks on full incline for almost an hour!
the guy who does weights -loooong sets- in between texting and a phone call but doesnt let anyone else use them

there are also the Groups, normally young guys 17 to 25 who go to the gym in groups of 4-5 and must use all the machines together kind of an all or nothing and when they go to the weight room they just sit and text and chat whilst hugging the weights and dont you dare take one or ask can you use this machine, because the answer is no!

Everyone else is just expressing themselves, and no judgements. But the asshole who wants to hog the public machines for their own use? Total fucktard. It's like the people who are on the aisle seat in airplanes and get bitchy that the window or middle seat person needs to leave the row. If you want no passenger interaction, buy your own damned plane! It's a flying Greyhound bus for a reason, princess!

Whenever I workout, I'm in the zone. I have my music blasting, cap pulled down over my eyes and pumping away. I couldn't care less what others are or aren't doing.

With that being stated, I absolutely hate it when guys grab dumbbells and stand right in front of the dumbbell rack so no one else can get or put back their weights. Come on, people! Grab your weight and stand away from the rack! Is it really that much harder to have to walk away from the rack, you lazy twat!

I also hate it when some douche stands right in front of me when I'm working out facing the mirror. Inevitably, right when I start working out biceps and watching my arms some person will walk right in between me and the mirror and start working out. Like, really? You don't see me standing there looking in the mirror. How am I supposed to see my arms working out looking at your ass while I do my biceps curl?

Let's just all agree that if you don't REALLY NEED the squat rack (~doing barbell shrugs), then get the fuck away from the rack!

I don't really mind if people don't wipe off benches, handles, etc (unless there is a puddle). If you are so concerned with people wiping shit off at the gym, chances are, you are worried more about trivial shit like this and you're not GOING HARD ENOUGH with your workout!
