The Term "Gay"

I always have felt that I cannot relate to the Term "Gay" nor I want to label myself as Gay but I feel comfortable and proud to tell people with my hand on my chest that "Yes! I am a masculine man loving a man", instead of "I am Gay". It is not that I am ashamed of or no disrespect to all those souls who took the world by storm by marching and sacrificing their lives for Gay Rights. Yet I still do think that their is no difference between a man who loves a Man and a Man who loves a woman. Sometimes I also wonder if we have helped people to see us like that their is something really inside the "Gay" World thereby blinding them the simple fact that we just happen to love a man.

Sometimes I also think that we should have started it as getting married like anyone else, unlike labelling as "Gay" marriage. Someone not knowing anything about it reporting it to lawtizens and them thinking as something against the society values, then applying bans, unsupporting laws to it. ( I agree I don't really know how we could have escaped the religional locks!)

I totally understand that it is very easier for me to sit here and air free comments and that is why i insist no disrespect to all those pure souls who lived in this world justifying their feelings.

But I would definitely support this term "Gay" for one thing and I really thank a 1000 times. When a young kid is getting bullied because of his sexuality, then this is to make him aware that he's not to be worried and that their are lot many like him who just happen to love a man. I 100% Respect the term "Gay" on this point.

I can see how the word "gay" may not be the perfect word, but it's become the accepted term for homosexuals. There are other terms, but they are no more flattering.
And, I agree that "gay marriage" isn't correct either - it should just be "marriage" - period. It makes as much sense as attaching the word gay to anything associated with what a homosexual man or woman does or has.

And, GOY is something different altogether.

I think we're just gonna have to learn to live with the word - could be worse.
