    Aspartame Linked to Leukemia & Lymphoma in Groundbreaking Study

    The combined results of this new study showed that just one 12-fl oz. can (355 ml) of diet soda daily leads to:

    - 42 percent higher leukemia risk in men and women (pooled analysis)
    - 102 percent higher multiple myeloma risk (in men only)
    - 31 percent higher non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk (in men only)

    good lord, a good chunk of your digestion is the breakdown of food via gut flora, i.e. "bacteria feces", so if that concerns you might as well ask a doctor to surgically remove your stomach. please do not buy into such senseless rhetoric.

    I should also point out that the link between refined sugar and chronic diseases such as type II diabieties, Cardiovascular diseases and (obviously) obesity are well established, and thus good ol' sugar can be said to be equally toxic, its just old news. The question is if the health risks associated with aspartame are worth the risks associated with sugar. I don't know the answer to that, personally i just avoid sweet things.

    dubious article at best. correlation does not imply causation and there are plenty of other factors to consider. even the source the author derives his conclusions from says the link could be ruled out by chance.

    I just heard aspartame is lab made with fecal matter of ecoli. Keep hearing this. I can not take aspartame. I break out in skin rashes.

    Yep, Agricultural has been based since day one on "fertilizer"......animal manure.

    My mouth breaks out when I consume anything with aspartame in it. It's bad news.
