So, was looking to see if I could get any useful tips from anyone. Looking to build upon my current workout, want to get stronger using body weight exercises (mainly because I don't have a gym membership haha). Not really concerned with the image (except for where my abdomen is concerned) just looking to improve my strength.

My current workout consist of 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill followed by 3 sets of 10-15 push ups every monday, wednesday and friday. It's a little pathetic but I'm a bit of a beginner so it's a start I suppose. Please let me know of any useful exercises that I could add on to this or if I should change it completely.

Use the outdoors -- pull-ups on sturdy tree branches, use the jungle gym at the playground for dips and reverse pull-ups, etc.

    And you're asking on RJ?

There's not a "fail" meme on the intarwebz that can properly display the amount of fail that your thread title displays.

Have a nice day, and happy lifting. icon_biggrin.gif

Unintended saidDo you want to become "stronger" or build lean muscle mass?

The two are not the same.

Now that you put it that way, I'd like to be able to do both if that's even possible.

For me, I recently found the Insanity video and pullup works.

Just google "bodyweight exercises" or search for them on Youtube
