Roger Ebert (before cancer, wouldn't be fair to poke fun at someone who couldn't control the circumstances.) . . Too soon?

I really thought he was great at what he did, he was also inspirational.

How sad that some people can not see beyond the physical appearance.

I've lost far too many important people in my life - and every single one was beautiful.

Maybe not to the eyes of everyone - but to me - they were truely beautiful.

It's just part of human nature to recognize physical beauty - but a person's true beauty is not what can be seen by the eyes, but by the heart.

I hope that when my days on earth are done I'm not judged for how I looked. That would be a very sad commentary on a person's life.

Whether I care that someone hot or ugly died makes no difference to anybody least of all the person who died. So unless it is somebody I knew personally, I do not care as such that anybody died.

I suppose a more relevant question is, would I prefer it if my organs went to a hot person or an ugly person after I died? Seeing as that could actually affect someone else's life. There is a website called Matching Donors where people make videos asking for organs from potential donors. Seems like a safe bet that the hot ones get the donations first.

If god really cared about ugly people, then why did He make them ugly? icon_confused.gif

God just made people. God didn't make ugly or beautiful people. Thats a concept we invented.
