Good news: I told my mother that I like dudes too!

Bad news: She doesn't believe me, but she told my father anyways and now about 90% of my relatives knows. Awesome.

Anything stupid like that happen to anyone else when they came out?

When I told my mother I was more into boys than girls she said, "Well, I always liked women more than men." icon_eek.gif

my mom hasn't told anyone. which made it super awkward when the bf and I went up to visit her relatives for thanksgiving...she didn't want to be around for "the awkwardness". it was pretty lame, but whatever. i think she just didn't want to go around telling people about my life....but then again, if I were straight she probably would have. parents are stupid sometimes. lol

When I came out, I told my mom and she told everyone else. At first I was annoyed then relieved - it saved me the trouble.

Congrats on coming out to your family! icon_biggrin.gif

Well as long as the rest of clan won't be bugging you.

I asked my mum about introducing my (if ever) bf and she was like, when the time comes...THEN we'll talk lol

That is true. I'm just gonna get annoyed when most them try to "change me" back or something.

    And thank you!

Kinda a pain that everyone knows, but also good to get it all done at once. Like ripping off a bandaid.

My mother didn't believe me either. At least, not until I brought home a boyfriend.

At school, I told the biggest gossip, and she told everyone else. Saved a lot of effort.

    Good for you.
