You may not agree with my right to own guns but I can say this. My gun has saved several lives, including my own. I won't give that up to any liberal tree hugger.

As for sleeveless shirts, not everyone should have them. I've seen some gnarly arms out there.

Hey guess what, background checks can help reduce the amount of criminals from obtaining guns. You can save on bullets, and on bravado.

What a ridiculous comment. I happen to respect environmentalists, there can be some that go overboard... but I agree with coolarmy...

Every school principal should have one of these and a few dozen assault rifles as back up. That would fix things.

heh, I was in the lift the other week when this dumbarsed american was talking to his buddies about guns in america. He proceeded to tell them that more people experience gun crimes in Australia then in America.

I couldn't help but interrupt the conversation.

I pulled out my ipad and handed him this site

I just thought it was interesting and this thread sparked my memory

Since I have the right to bear arms I should be allowed to have a nuclear missle in my back yard.

If you check the statistics, you'll probably find that per capita consumption of beverage ethanol is much higher in Oz than in the U.S. That may explain why Oz has a higher incidence of some crimes.

the irrational fear most Americans have about having their guns taken away is astounding to the rest of the Western world. keep them if you like, , None of us really care, its just another example of ONLY in America. peace and hope you guys work it out

Thank you Chadwick. The "scoreboard" seems to miss criminals that were killed by citizens using firearms for self-defense.

Not to get dragged into a political fight on this, but criminals do not follow the laws and will still have guns regardless if law-abiding citizens are banned from owning them.
