The city mayor's office has set up an emergency hotline for friends and relatives on +1 617 635 4500

Hi Guys, I know a lot of us run. And a lot of us know people who run.
The above is an emergency number to call if your concerned about someone.

Here is a link to a BBC article:

I posted this in the Politics thread, but I think it bears repeating:

As a Bostonian who was all too near the incident—I wasn't harmed and neither were any of my friends, thankfully—I would ask everyone to avoid jumping to conclusions. We don't know who did this yet, and posts about Islam are insulting and unnecessary. We will have ample time to discuss the perpetrators of this awful bombing once we know who did it. It is inevitable that incorrect information will circulate over the next few hours, and it is best to focus our thoughts on the victims, not those who carried it out because we simply cannot know.

In the meantime, express your solidarity with our beautiful city and its citizens, and the poor people who have been killed or injured by this horrific criminal act.
