When the FBI find those responsible for killing and hurting those innocent people enjoying a day at the race , i hope they will be given a taste of their own medecine . Why not sit them in a car stuffed with explosives and detonate it !!
At least it would save money to all the american taxpayers !!

You can't say they don't have it coming. I would not want to waste a perfectly good car. But the death penalty is appropriate.

It's awful, I use to live in New England, and have been to the Boston Marathon before. It's a sad and scary thought in regards to what has happened. Luckily my friends out there are safe- but my heart goes out to those who were impacted.

It's honestly a sick and disgusting world we all live in. No matter where you go shit is happening, it's not needed, and does no good for anyone. I hope they do find those responsible and hold them fully accountable. Jail time simply isn't enough for the death and injury of a person.

I lived in Boston for 5 years all throughout college, and I can honestly say that the city and its people were always nothing but friendly and kind and generous. Boston has a spirit, a feeling to it, that simply exudes happiness and hope and optimism. My heart truly broke today. I'm from New York originally and am back there now, so both of my homes have been attacked by acts of senseless violence. I am physically sick to my stomach and cannot watch the news regarding the attack anymore. I'm glad all of my friends still living up there are okay, but to those less fortunate, my thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to the victims and their families and friends. A truly somber day, but Obama said it best. Boston is a resilient town and so are its inhabitants. We will get through this together.

I used to work at one of the explosion sites. Insanity. It never crossed my mind this would happen here, especially during such an uplifting and multinational event. It just doesn't make sense...

After seeing what was caused, and reading first hand accounts, no one deserves to experience the horrors caused today, not even those who caused it. They deserve to pay for their actions, but what happened in Boston was... Barbaric.

I think it's probably impossible to understand the mentality of someone planning and carrying out this sort of thing.
If they're caught, I would rather see them get life in prison without the possibility of parole.
For me, that would be worse than the death penalty.

I've been really rattled all day.

I lived in Boston for six years, ran Boston three times, watched from the sidelines twice and volunteered once. Marathon Monday is rich in the spirit of joy and community and humanity and bettering oneself. This attack feels personal. Hell, I hosted a Boston Marathon party on Saturday because it's such a part of me.

I think about the runners who dug deeply within themselves for hours (or months) and then found horror instead of triumph.

It's been really weird to be on the left coast all day, too. It seems like so many people barely even noticed.icon_neutral.gif

    Best wishes from Canada.

It breaks my heart that people train and push themselves to run a marathon and somebody so full of hate uses that moment to do this.

A sad Patriots Day (state holiday) in Mass. yesterday. I'm hoping that the two unexploded bombs found will create a break in this case.

And from Western Australia - hoping that all my Realjock Brothers are safe and that justice comes swiftly to the scum that perpetrated this evil.

Keeping the dead and injured in my prayers.
