Silly question but do guys make their own muscle tees by cutting out the sleeves or do people buy them like that. I haven't seen them in stores but I feel everyone has one at the gym so led me to my first suspicion.

Probably not. I would think he is talking about the ones cut out low down to the flanks. You don't see them in stores. The kids just make them themselves.

Yep the cut down to flanks. How much do you cut and how do they all in synch figure this out? Lol

depends on what size of t-shirt you like to wear, most of them are a little bigger and baggy, most can be tight and showy

I've only cut the sleeves off and the holes have started to stretch wider on their own.

It depends on what you're trying to show off, I have a few "fuck sleeves" styles as I like to call them, and then a few "I'm just wearing this so I can still be served in a restaurant." The latter, is always blowing off, flashing pecs and nipples.

Believe it or not this was really big at the gay bars in 1985 .. then it spread to the straight community ... just grab some scissors and cut away .... practice on an old throw away t first ... top, bottom, sides

    tim-tebow.jpg

Notice ... too much cut from the sides .. so cut the bottom the right length first
cut the bottom a bit round
    cut rim off the neck

Don't over cut because everything will roll up in the wash ... you can always cut more off, but you can't add it back on

unfortunately I've had to learn this experience a few times. Have some that just look silly now from being too cut... happened when I was a rookie. Now I'm a pro at making them.

if you go to urban outfitters, they usually have tanks/sleeveless shirts with "open" sides

I buy t-shirts with logos that I really like and then cut them to make muscle tee's. Old Navy has a lot of good logo tee's, and they are pretty cheap.

After a couple of wears and washing them, they start to look really good. Mine actually keeps ripping down the sides to where there's almost no sides at all.

I cut mine myself, but always measure with a ruler beforehand. I haven't made many mistakes with my "alterations", just make sure you know what you want in advance....lol

Trolli - if you're a frat boy now - get used to it. You will likely be required - unless it's a gay frat, then I think the standard option is pink speedo... icon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gif

Just to be safe, you better buy a pink speedo and cut up a t-shirt and post a pic...

that's hilarious! personally i think i prefer the fold-in-half method to achieve symmetry, but maybe i should try this the next time i find a shirt i want to cut up.
