    What a fun video!

Anyway, there are lots of other great Naija and Ghanian hip hop artists with a similar sound, like:

    A'won Boyz

    P Square

    Dr Cryme

    Hakym the Dream

5five (note: this video has caused quite a stir throughout Africa because it's pretty sexualizing of women. It's really tame to what's made in the U.S., which is pretty telling)

    Keche

    Gasmilla

sorry for the formatting, I'm on a mobile device.

Don't know much about Carribean artists, I'm afraid.

    He's from Ghana...
that language suggest to me that it has to be mostly nija music...we call it broken Englishicon_smile.gif.
The guy is just stealing our style. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UWaNr5fNm84 This is their king when it comes to the new African young stars.

Check out the lyrics, its french.

    J'effacerai tes larmes, tes peines.

    Ooh! Aicha, Aicha, ecoute-moi.
    Aicha, Aicha, t'en vas pas.
    Aicha, Aicha, regarde-moi.
    Aicha, Aicha, reponds-moi.

Je dirai les mots des poemes.
Je jouerai les musiques do ciel.
Je prendrai les rayons do soleil
Pour eclairer tes yeux de reine.

    Ooh! Aicha, Aicha, ecoute-moi.

    Aah!

    Aicha, Aicha, ecoute-moi.
    Aicha, Aicha, ecoute-moi.
    Aicha, Aicha, t'en vas pas.
    Aicha, Aicha, regarde-moi.
    Aicha, Aicha, reponds-moi.
    Lalala, lalala
