I've been looking for some hidden Netflix gems lately.

So far I've found Series 7, which is like a Hunger Games meets Real World sorta deal from the early 2000's.

And Virgin Witch, though I don't know if this was popular at the time (1972). It's super cheesy but I loved it.

Have you ever seen Battle Royale? I know it's considered a cult classic NOW but somehow it managed to fly under my radar and only saw it recently.

Love crime is another good one with an unfortunate name, if you don't mind slow movies with subtitles.

@ samoscratch - Battle Royale was a great movie.

Last week I watched a few movies on Netflix. I really liked Mulholland dr., The Stranger in us, and The Green.

Are we talking about underrated and obscure movies and TV shows? If so, Little Children is definitely worth a look.

While most of the films on Netflix are a bit shitty there were 2 movies that I really enjoyed and they were both starring robin Williams.

The first was called What Dreams May Come, a spiritual drama/romance story about a pediatrician's experiences after he dies

The second was called Bicenteniall Man, a film in which Robin Williams plays a robot who chronicles his journeys over several generations. (Similar to the movie Artificial Intelligence)

NURSE JACKIE IS THE BIGGEST LETDOWN EVER IN A TV SERIES.

    season 1 EXCELLENT.,
SEASON 2 it hits the wall.
now, its a soap opera and it sucks.

I recently just joined Netflix and been watching on and off non-stop. My taste in movies are very weird. I really really like War, Foreign, Gay, Indy films lately. I've been checking out their Historical/Foreign/Gay cinema section. The topic I'm really fascinated lately is about World War II (between China vs. Japan, Jews/Germany). I just saw an awesome Chinese epic film called *The Flowers of War (About the Rape of Nanking *** google it). Now, if you're not into slow, Chinese, War, Brutal film, do not Watch. I also love *Lust, Caution!!!! (both films setting in Shanghai/Nanking in WWII). Excellent !!!! There's so many wonderful films from all over, I'll check out more Latin-America films next.

I'm really enjoying Rita. It is a show about a teacher, Rita, from Denmark. It is in subtitles.

Rita is Great! Have seen the 1st two seasons, and can't wait to see the last. The stories around her gay son coming out are really well written.
