A June wedding? A January winter wedding? By the beach? The mountains? In our backyard?

I think my wedding will be in a valley with a lot of trees and my butterfly friends

i want o do something unforgetable so it's not going to be a typical wedding. i want my husband to be and me to dress in whatever we want to dress in such as us dressing up in costumes like we could be dressed up in skimasks and dickie suits like a robbery heist team or dress only in our boxers or underwear or naked or dress up like bert and ernie. it would on the beach in the summertime. don't want any religious dude doing the wedding vows. it has to be someone special like elmo or gumby or a man in a sour patch costume.

having either the gza, musiq soulchild or coldplay perform at my wedding reception or his favorite artist. that would be so kick ass. it would be nice to get married but haven't found that guy yet or maybe i have but haven't realized it yet or i know who he is but we haven't dated yet. who knows.

    +1

I love butterflies. Mine would be, hmm, would be either on the beach, or near a lake under a weeping willow tree. icon_smile.gif

Formal, flowers, in a garden by a pool. Black tie and dinner jackets. Four piece orchestra during cocktails and the ceremony. A dance band after.

I've talked about this to a couple of my friends before...

He would propose while we're walking in a park somewhere preferably during autumn, when all the leaves are turning colors, or at Chicago's Millenium Park (i've always found that place pretty magical....)

Our wedding will be in a greenhouse, in the winter while it's snowing outside... icon_wink.gif

He's as rich as Croesus and laying in his hospital bed on life support in a silk chiffon Vera Wang hospital gown. I'm standing at his bed side wearing a Verasce designed morning coat and ascot with a stick pin topped by a 10 carat, flawless diamond. Ten seconds after the minister pronounces us corpse and gold digger, we kiss and he flat lines.

Hey what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Not sure about all the details, but I would wear a kilt and full highland regalia(Campbell-Argyle tartan, sporran, etc.) as I`m Scottish!

Backyard Pot luck barbecue . . . fifty or sixty people . . . friends reading stuff or playing music for part of it . . . dancing for another page . . . no gifts, dress to be comfortable . . . dogs forming a spontaneous pack running around the backyard. . . .

My wedding would be here, at the Tiffany Rose Garden in Grant Park in Chicago.

There would be two bagpipers and a quintet of brass players to play the processional, which would be "Highland Cathedral."

The guy I'd be walking down the aisle with seems to be fairly aware that we're getting married. He just needs to realize that I'm not going to be here forever, and that he needs to make a step in the right direction.

He would be in his late nineties, stupid rich, and there would be no pre-nup. He would die, tragically, on our honeymoon. *Sigh* love is in the air.

I always say I wanted something outrageous and kitschy like a ghetto in springtime theme but honestly now that I think about it I just want something small and intimate. I see it being at night and almost like a black tie affair. Everything is either black, pink, brown or yellow. I see it being very minimalist with a lot of candles. Even though I'm not religious anymore I'd like it to be at the church I grew up in. I'd want my dad's only brother to walk me down the aisle if he isn't in prison. I'd want the floral arrangements to represent both sides of the families. So like if I married the guy I'm with now the flowers would have to be flowers native to Florida, Georgia and New Jersey. I'd want to be married by the same preacher who baptized me. Again not religious but it would mean a lot to me. Then I'd want a slideshow playing of all the marriages in my family's history on both sides leading up to now.
