Well considering Sarah Palin's religious beliefs that really comes as no surprise. Think of her as a younger, prettier, female George W. Bush. Cut from similar material.

Perhaps I'm confused at what your point is here but neither of these two candidates supports gay marriage (your topic title), although Biden supports equality for civil unions he has wish-washed on the gay marriage issue by voting for an act in 1996 prohibiting gay marriage to voting against a constitutional amendment prohibiting gay marriage in 2006 to stating he thinks it's inevitable without endorsing it. To me that means that neither supports that particular topic.

Well, agreed Palin supports the constitutional ban and Biden did vote against it, hopefully his decision to vote for an "act" prohibiting same sex marriages has changed. Having said that, he's still not supporting it with or without a constitutional amendment either way, so if you're hanging your hat on that one issue from a candidate I'm not sure you'll be happy with either.

Now if you're playing odds, then yes, I agree the odds are much greater with Biden then Palin. Lets just hope California's "No On 8" passes, I think that will set the tone for the future and hopefully put this behind us once and for all at the federal level and leave it to the states.
