I'm traveling to Europe later in the year and for the part of my trip where I'm in Amsterdam I'll be traveling alone. Curious if people have suggestions for ways to meet people - ahead of time; or perhaps while I'm there.

Don't really need a tour guide, per se, but always interested in meeting people and wouldn't mind knowing someone to grab a drink or have a meal with. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

Mmm, I had food at a place called Cafe Bonjour. Best food I've ever had out.

You could check out Travbuddy.com its got a great little community of travellers and they usually plan meet ups etc.
There's a few gay boys on there as well so there is always something for someone.

Other wise just be friendly when your there...Tourists always seem to go to the same places so you'll meet many a person, travelling alone makes it so much easier to meet and make friends.
