It depends how it is used ... is someone is using it to put me down, then of course it is offensive. If another gay friend is using it in a humorous manner, as you would with 'bitch', 'bastard', 'fuck head', 'mother fucker', 'son of a bitch', then no of course not. It is the intent behind it that matters, not the actual word.

No, I have gotten over being offended by someone referring to as gay by the use of any word including faggot.

yourname2000 saidIf he's growling it in my ear along with all the perverted things he's going to do to me as he's shoving his dick up my ass, I really don't see a problem.

    Lmao well played.

And like many of the other users if its someone I know and they call me a faggot as a joke than Idc, but if it's to put me down or if I dont know them that well thats when I get agitated.

I don't give a rats ass what sexual orientation the person who said it to me was, but 99.99% chance says they are getting their ass whooped!

I think its more about how a person is saying things then what words they are actually using. The word itself doesn't bother me, I look more towards the intention of the person. I'm not someone most people would really notice as being gay so I don't have the word flung at me very often. The one time it did piss me off is when someone who I thought was a good friend texted me about some completely unrelated issue and called me a faggot, as if my sexuality had anything to do with the situation. Needless to say, it was the end of our friendship.

Yes, it bothers me, no matter who says it. In my opinion, it's the same as the N word.

I use all those mean words... even against straight people acting fem. I personally don't get offended, and I understand how other people could be offended, but I grew up saying that stuff to people and with friends. It's a word, you shouldn't let words hurt you.
