I want to try it as well! But it seems that tough mudder course is very similar to crossfit training exercise. Ill maybe start there.

I've already given advice twice on this. Try looking up old threads. There are at least a couple on here.

Damn. You are lucky it is in your summer. I considered doing it this year but scheduled in winter. Pass! Brisbane is not warm enough in August to jump in iced water.

As long as you are strong enough to move your body weight around I would concentrate on running..... A lot.... And uphill as well as downhill. (Downhill training is a key component for most races since many are held at ski areas.)

    Hope you get hooked! Enjoy!

I've done it twice. Just did one in WV on say. Uphill and downhill running is a must. Other than that I think it's mostly mental. Ask yourself are you prepared to jump into a huge pool of ice water? Are you prepared to get shocked by live wired while crawling under barbed wire? If you can do that then you can do the tough mudder.

Also are you prepared to maybe injure yourself or worse?
