Say, he looks like Ruan Gosling, or Channing Tatum, or Chris Evans.....

But he's so weird! Like lame weird....and he'd do embarrassing things in public. Would you still date him?

I love nerds and partially socially inept people... but there is an unacceptable stage of it and they must have been excruciatingly held back from others to be that way.

I'd like to say "yes", but if I'm thinking as severe as you may imply... no.

I've had to deal with this, and its always so conflicting, sometimes its not that they have a bad personality but weirdness is so strange, like for instance guys who keep flies in jars and feed them cheerios .... harmless yes but gross

Are we talking like delightfully weird in a Meg Ryan/Julia Roberts romantic comedy way or weird as in little Nell from the countryside who just learned how to speak two weeks ago?

why are you talking about me?..haha, I am pretty weird, though. My weirdness actually repels guys, It okay, I got used to it, and I'm totally okay by the fact that guys are turned off by it.

He puts up with me, I'll put up with him. If we are both in love, I'd make it work.

Honestly, I'm kinda weird myself, just not in the public way. It all depends what you mean by wierd though.

Depends on the type of weirdness, and what you actually mean by 'weird' in the first place. I'd rather someone who was a bit quirky and entertaining than someone who was devoid of any sort of personality.

exactly, a mutual trust and understanding. why date someone who feels to themselves that they're the shit and at the same time is a follower that does what everybody else deems as cool and etc. i would love to have a boyfriend who's fun to be around and weird people are usually fun to be around.

I'm hoping some answer yes. I'm quirky, in ways that some guys appreciate - not afraid to intellectualize things, get around on bicycle, play board games, teaching myself how to play the oboe, geek out over urban planning issues. Others see me as just plain weird. icon_smile.gif Older guys seem to appreciate it more.

I was in a relationship for a while where I was the more normal partner and I didn't like it much...

^that. I can't handle someone acting like a feral monkey in public (a tame one ok).
