Is anyone doing this? Looks pretty gay, so I'm sure it will be fun. My friends and I are booked 06/22 (tri-state).

    Let's get filthy clean!

Miss foam parties in chicago...good times. Alcohol and bubbles up to your waste. Summer nights well spent

I have never attended a foam party.

Yes Foam Fest looks like fun, which is why I signed up. While the event will be timed, the promoters request that we enjoy the course instead of barreling through it. Fine by me since my pace is pretty slow!

It's just a giant slide. . . Is that it?

Where's the foam? Is it down the slide? And why the mud at the end? Trying to benefit from the Tough Mudder craze?

Foam parties were a thing in Tampa in the mid 1990s. Loved those! Good, "clean" fun! icon_lol.gif

There are other foam obstacles in addition to the giant slide. My understanding is the 'death drop' is new for this year. I just looked at the map for the course I'm registered in and it looks like the foamy obstacles were added towards the end of the course and the muddy/sweaty stuff towards the beginning.

I just assumed this was capitalizing on the rash of 'fun runs' popping up everywhere; from color runs, zombie runs, mid-night glow runs... just another fun event not to be taken seriously.
