I recently started to really get into weight lifting. I am not trying to look like a body builder of any sort, but I want to build muscle enough to where you can physically see it. I love cardio, and do 30 minutes Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun, and do intense cardio tues/thurs/sat. I feel extremely guilty if I dont do it for the day (I love to eat! Healthy, just love to eat!) Anyway, by doing this I have whittled away some...or most of my muscle, so I am trying to develop a more athletic muscle building regimen. I dont really have a set workout plan or anything to follow, which I think kills my motivation, but I go anyway. I also have this thing where I do the p90x ab ripper x after every mon/weds/fri workout day. I hate it..but I love it. I have done the damn video for like three years, and yes I have definition, but I WANT muscle. I dont want to always have to be addicted to the video. Anyway, can anyone recommend me some good workout plans? Where to go? What you follow? What you do? Even nutrition. I eat a HUGE amount of oatmeal in the morning, which I think hinders my muscle gaining. Like I said I love to eat, and drink water, I think just eat too much. Does anyone have any good recommendations?
