How many college football fans around here?

Just curious if most football fans on here are college or pro. For me, it's completely college football. SEC in particular. I have season tickets to South Carolina (my alma mater), but when I'm not at a Carolina game, I spend fall Saturdays watching other games on TV. Also, South Carolina games are great because it's the only place in the country where 80,000 people scream GO COCKS, and no one thinks it's funny. icon_smile.gif I'll have to post a pic of myself in one of my COCKS t-shirts.

I grew up more pro, however, the last 7 or 8 years, I've been more college.

It's college and pro, not college or pro for me.

Between the Trojans, the Falcons, rooting for Tom Brady, and rooting against the Notre Dame and the Manning brothers -- Saturdays and Sundays in late fall/winter are basically a wash for me.

BIG TEN BABY! (Although I do like the hard knocks the SEC tends to produce)

All about college football. I really couldn't care less about pro. I think this is a result of growing up somewhere where college sports was the only local representation. The only pro team we had in my home state was an arena football league team.

Admittedly, I pay more attention when Iowa isn't terrible. icon_neutral.gif

I graduated from FSU, a huge college football university, so its all about the NOLES baby! Can't wait for college football season.

As for the pros I am more of a casual fan but am partial to the Patriots.

Since Los Angeles does not have a pro football team, I am a college football fan. Especially the PAC-12. I have season tickets for UCLA football, the Rose Bowl is the place to be on Saturdays in the fall. I am going to the Spring football game today at the Rose Bowl. Since the PAC-12 and the BIg Ten meet in the Rose Bowl at the end of the season I also follow some of the Big Ten schools. I have always had a special place for Notre Dame football, Go Irish! Here's sending you an eight-clap, U-C-L-A Fight Fight Fight!

LOVE college football. Too bad the Gophers tend to muck things up on a regular basis though. Such is the price of living in Minnesota.

I've seen the Jump Around thing at Wisconsin on TV before. Pretty cool. I LOVE stuff like that. It's what makes college football better than pro.

At South Carolina, we have Sandstorm. Here's a video.

Same for me actually. I'm a casual fan...I'll watch the NFL if I happen to have nothing to do on a Sunday. And I do watch the playoffs. And if I HAD to pick a favorite team, it would be the Pats.

Obviously a Gator fan here. I make most of the home FB games and I make one away game each season. Last season it was Texas A&M - really great fans and a great place to tailgate. I'll also watch most other SEC teams play as well. Can't go wrong with the best conference in college football.

I just don't have time for the pros unless the Dolphins make the playoffs.

Dude, I'm right with on college football, with SEC being the focus. I was born in Knoxville and went to the University of TN before transferring to a school up north, and I've got to say that the gameday experience is entirely different. There is nothing quite like seeing over 105,000 people crammed into a stadium screaming for their team with the passion of a zealot.

A big college football fan here, PAC-12 in particular. Since I live near Los Angeles I am a UCLA football fan as well as a season ticket holder. My favorite teams are UCLA and whoever is playing against USC. Go Bruins!

College football fan here too and the SEC rules!

Big Gator fan, but the great news is our local guys (University of Central Florida) left the Hostess Twinkie Conference and will play in the Big East this fall.
