At what point in your life did you decide to do this? What prompt the decision? Do you usually let the guys that you are approaching know that race is a factor in who you are willing to date?

    Just curious icon_smile.gif

There was a phase in my life where I exclusively found myself attracted to Black men. Nothing prompted that decision as such, I just found them attractive. That has changed over time now, tastes and prferences can sometime change as well given time.

I'm curious why you are asking only about black guys. Why not "Guys who exclusively like/date only one ethnicity?"

Now Dek yousa a mess...you just got on me about saying what I wanted to say in another thread and you talking this bullshit on here.

Anyhow...as far as guys who exclusively date Black guys, I place them on my 'alert' radar. Many of them seem to have an issue committing to just 1 even though they all claim to have a story that they 'were' in a relatonship right now. No bitch, you dating 1 right now so why the hell you out on this date right now? Why you still talking about your Black ex? That ain't really your ex if you still discussing it on the date now is it?

We are more like an exotic pet to them.

We are like Pokemon. They gotta catch us all.

    Good question.

1.) I had an experience last night that made me want to better understand guys who exclusively date black men.

2.) If it was an open question it would inevitably degrade into a discussion about why so many guys are obsessed with dating white men.

I don't exclusively like/date black guys. I exclusively like/date guys that I find attractive, and for me, this happens to be guys with dark features and medium to dark skin tones.

I've always been attracted to black guys since I was young, but I can't really explain it. To me it feels natural. It's almost like asking me when I decided to come out "gay" and what was the catalyst. There really wasn't one point in my life where I was like, "eureka! I love black guys!" Attraction is so subjective, and I don't think I can pinpoint a specific time.

All I do know is that I've never been attracted to blond guys, redheaded guys and pale-skin guys. I'm attracted to guys with full lips, thick eyebrows and medium to dark skin.

This leads to your last question as to whether I let the guys that I will be approaching know that I'm into them. I'm not going to approach them and say, "hey, I want you BECAUSE you're black!" I'm going to approach them and say, "damn, dude! You're so my type - hot!"

I CANNOT say this enough... I am not attracted to your "race." I am attracted to your physical characteristics that I find hot, nothing more; nothing less. Believe me, I'm not going to date a guy that I don't find attractive only because he has dark skin.

OP are you sure you didn't just start this thread to find out what RJ dudes are into black guys so you can kick some game to them? If so you're very clever.

Which we may very well end up doing with the current warlord in chief.

Haha. The correct approach, unfortunately it is most underused. icon_lol.gif

I don't get it? How come when someone says they're only attracted to black guys..nothing is ever said. But, when a white guy says he's mainly attracted to other white guys...he's seen as being some kind of racist Neo Nazi? You guys can spare the holier than thou remarks! You know it's true!

Because liking only black guys is seen as a fetish, whereas liking only white guys is more "understandable"

Hate to say it but it's kinda true
Most minorities USUALLY end up with their own race/ethnicity
No matter how much they are open, something just attracts them naturally to their own kind.

*notice how I said usually, not always, there are exceptions

As a matter of human trends, we gravitate towards like-minded folks. While that can include skin color, it may not, as well.

Declaration that you're gay is not entitlement to acceptance, nor even desirability.

While we can celebrate our diversity as an overhaul view, we can also celebrate folks like ourselves.

Having communities of people based upon culture, income, locale, occupation, etc., is all very NORMAL. While we celebrate our diversity, we are often united in our common experience, which varies across cultures.

Most black guys that come on to me are very insecure, or, so obnoxious, that I'm completely turned off by them. That being said, I have a date this weekend with my friend who is half black and half Puerto Rican. He's very built, a real sweetheart, smart, sensitive, and great in bed. We've gone out several times over the years, and usually have a pretty good time. But....I'm not in tune with his black culture, and likely never will be, nor he my Plains State upbringings, but J.R. is a really great guy, and a like him a lot. I like his sense of family, sensitivity, morality, and just plain common decency. JR was raised by two parents, and his dad was a captian in The Army. He body builds, and he understands discipline, patience, planning, and decorum.
