i wasn't sure which forum to use, but this seemed to make the most sense... i recently became a dad to a 2.5 year old boy. thus far it has been the best thing i've EVER done in my life. as expected, it has also changed my life completely. my schedule is no longer my own. to that end, i am struggling to find time to work out as often or effectively as i used to. i'm reaching out to anyone who has gone through this and can give me some tips on how to best continue my healthful lifestyle amidst all the fun chaos that is now my life... i also want to set a good example for my son and hopefully integrate him in to my exercising. he already eats better (nutritionally) than most of his peers (and eats almost as much as i do - i don't know where he puts it). ;)
help - anyone. thanks in advance.

My Gold's gym has a supervised play room....can you find a gym in your area with one of those?

Understanding that your whole schedule is thrown out of whack right now, I'd advise trying to get him on a regular routine as soon as possible. Kids do better when they have structure, it's comforting to them.

Until then, start cranking out as many sit-ups, pull-ups and push-ups you can. If you are a runner or a biker, you can get accessories to bring him along safely.

do you have a set of equipment at home? maybe on the days that you absolutely cannot leave the house, maybe you can do stuff at home?

oh, isnt there an article on RJ that shows some exercises you can do when you dont have access to a gym?
