I'm in a great mood tonight, I've had an awesome week. I had my birthday earlier this week, turned 24. I've ran 10km, and 15km the next day. I'm feeling prepped and ready for my half marathon on the weekend.

and then to make the week even better, I got my grades in, AND I have passed all my courses for my first bachelor. 3.42 gpa. Just pumped.

I just started tanning this week too. I'm a little against tanning, but I gatta love having some colour on my skin and feeling and looking healthy.

I managed to not run around the house screaming and cursing because i am so frustrated.

This is more of an accomplishment than it may seem.

    Nothing actually..icon_confused.gif probably:

    A. Too high of a standard to accomplish anything.

    B. Simply Lazy

    C. In the making.

    D. Accomplish things that are considered not worthy to be label as accomplished.

Hmmmm...lately...well, my biggest accomplishment is coming in a month but covers more than lately! I'll have accomplished 30 years working for the same place. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but I'm still happy being there and doing what I do icon_smile.gif

    I'll post seriously now...

Many of you know I became the division chair of my department at work. Well, in that process, my division has taken on other programs that were sort of lost in the shuffle of the college. So I now oversee five programs. I think that my position will become a Dean in a year or so, which I believe I could be promoted up in that process. It's not something I had considered before, especially so quickly after becoming a full-time faculty member. I mean this is only my 3rd year teaching full-time.

It hasn't led to anything specific yet, but I do feel like I accomplished a lot for my division this year in spite of tons of obstacles and I think that has caught the attention of some people that can help propel me forward.

In spite of physical setbacks, I also continue to improve as the healing process continues.

I am so proud I got an A+ on my senior presentation. I had researched my topic for a year and a half and I didn't need notes. Peeps loved it too.

This is a big one. I received an offer for employment Thursday from the company I interviewed on Tuesday! Of course, I accepted!!!!!! YAY!. Still in the insurance industry, but in a non licensed capacity with a company here I can grow with!!! After 125 applications, 20 interviews over the course of just 5 days short of 4 months looking since I moved to Overland Park, Kansas in January, I AM EMPLOYED! I start the day before my birthday! Excellent birthday present to me!!! YAY!!!!!!

Has been a little more rough going than I anticipated, but I can breathe a sigh of relief and get the rest of this "START OVER" going. icon_wink.gif
