Is this supposed to make up and justify the actions of ACORN?

Aren't we all getting sick of this?

Read this, and try to justify the assertion that whatever misdeeds were associated with ACORN, if true, were tantamount to actively interferring with a person's right to vote.

You mean all of these horrible, shady actions? Why, yes, I'd say so.

ACORN is a well known front for the Neo-Weatherman Society for the Preservation of Unrepentant Terrorists. Its chairman is a puppet of domestic terrorist turned miseducator William Ayers, with whom Barack Obama was discovered locked in sodomy 8 years ago after they married in a ritual of the Islamic faith that required them to drink one another's seminal fluid.

Besides granting voting rights to cartoon characters, ACORN is promoting a law that will require harvesting of aborted fetuses so that they can be ground up and fed to people in homeless shelters. They also advocate outlawing heterosexual marriage.

The organization is known to include volunteers with Arabic names, obviously linking ACORN to al Qaeda's most influential leaders after Osama bin Laden -- namely Akbar and Jeff, who have been registered to vote. According to an FBI spokesman, the pair are suspected of planning to commit cartoon suicide/murder while voting by igniting explosive devices worn under their trademark terrorist fezzes.

Some have accused Akbar and Jeff of actually being William Ayers and Barack Obama, but this remains an unsubstantiated rumor.

Oh for heaven's sake, John. The Federal Elections Commission filed a motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction on 10/21/08 stating

"Plaintiff (Berg) lacks standing to raise the issue of a candidate's Constitutional eligibility"

If you're going to post someting incendiary, at least use the most current info. The judge has not yet issued his opinion on Berg's filing.

NOW, back to the OP's thread, please...

Never ends. No matter how often the accusations are debunked, they just keep on getting repeated.

I wasn't born in real America. I was born where Obama was, on a far away island in the Pacific. Despite being annexed by the US government 1898 then granted statehood in 1959, we apparently still aren't a part of real America.

Perhaps someone can clarify to me how to house facts with beliefs in the same brain without being totally schizo?

They're channeling Lenin. “A lie told often enough becomes truth” and all that bidness.

It's the miracle of cognitive dissonance:

Actually, Newt Gingrich explicitly taught this same technique to Congressional freshmen when the Republicans overtook the House during the Clinton presidency.

George Bush famously made the same point, equating "truth" and "propaganda." The best part about the video below is the applause his comment receives:

In this case, as in many other related Forum topics, the "they" who just "keep on getting repeated..." are repeated by....

The GOP's had 8 very successful years perfecting voter suppression. It's chilling to see this huge, well organized and lavishly funded political party adopt these hideously undemocratic strategies which are nationwide but focus on the swing states. Bush even went so far as to engage the justice department to take an active roll, which lead to the firing of all those states attorney generals who refused (to their credit) to play along.

Here's some more info on just how widespread voter suppression is just from states 'purging' voters from their rolls, in most cases for highly arbitrary reasons and in ways that are highly suseptable for abuse:
    http://www.brennancenter.org/content/resource/voter_purges
    and
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081009/ap_on_el_ge/voter_purges

Then there's voter 'caging' -- singling out particular communities to thin out the opposition's participation on election day. The GOP loves to target minorities, college students and (insideously enough) people in the military.
