Right on! I did it yesterday. Nothing felt better than the satisfying "clunk" when I heard my ballots slip into the ballot box.

I wish I could vote in the US election. icon_sad.gif

It is probably the most important election in the Western democracies since 1932 when FDR beat Herbert Hoover in the depths of the Great Depression. I hate missing out on history.

I signed up as a permanent absentee voter here in CA. So I voted from home on Saturday and the clunk I heard was into a mailbox -- but it still felt great.

To all of you Californians that are registered to vote, please do so. And please vote No on Prop 8. Your votes count!!!

well i mailed my vote today. its the first time i'm able to vote so i'm pretty excited icon_smile.gif i wish i could get one of those stickers icon_sad.gif the area around my hometown is most likely going to be red but NJ as a whole is normally a blue state. hopefully that will stand for the most densely populated state and its 15 electoral votes (since NJ doesnt split its votes by congressional district like ME and NE)....yea AP gov actually taught me something!

I think all the states should be able to split their electoral votes. Why should one candidate get all electoral votes if they get only 50.000009 percent of the vote?

Cant wait to cast my vote on the 4th. Though MA & NE will be voting for Obama, so my vote doesnt count as much as if I were in a state like TX, AZ.

so do I, there is a guy at my gym who always likes to talk politics (Republican) yet he never votes. II finally told him either shut up or vote. Personally dont care if a person is Republican or Democrat, every citizen should vote!

Voted absentee on Friday....yes it felt great! Been voting in the privacy of my home for the last 20 years. Beats standing in the lines and better yet, you don't even have to put a postage stamp on the return envelope! icon_biggrin.gif
