msuNdc saidReally all the younger crowd lives north of 59, west of downtown, south of I-10 and east of 610. Midtown, Montrose and the Galleria neighborhoods to be exact. The area is booming, full of parks, restaurants and bars.
I haven't lived in Houston as an adult (just from 0-18 + holidays visiting folks, summers etc.), and I second what msuNdc said. There will be a mix of young people everywhere, but the city young people will live where msuNdc said, which I understand is more expensive. I couldn't see myself living there anyway because I am not a typical "young person" in that I don't like eating out or going to bars. I do like hike trails and places to be outside, but I wasn't under the impression Houston is known for this like Austin is... Correct me if wrong msuNdc
NW Houston as in the Cypress area? They suck at water polo.
