    Anyone? Anyone?

For those of you who don't know, hashing combines two great things. Running and beer! Look it up, I'm not going to do all the work for you. Anyone else here a hasher?

I'm not a hasher, but have been known to readily accept a few dixie cups of beer from them, running marathons.icon_eek.gif

Ah beer. The best part about running. I'm glad it's getting warm again. I'm getting a bit sick of freezing my nuts off just for some frosty cold ones.

I did it a few times, several years ago. I think it's a great idea, but I disliked the fact that a lot of the people drink WAAAYYY too much and there is a lot of pressure to drink. Maybe I just felt pressured b/c I was young and stupid... ha ha. I'm not much of a drinker now. I still like the idea of trying to find a trail to hidden beer in the middle of the woods, kind of a treasure hunt.

Huh, never knew. Come to think of it, there was a 'beer stop' at San Francisco Marathon 2 years ago. I was really tempted but did not take up on it, because I had never done it before. I will look out for it at San Francisco Marathon at the end of July. It might give me extra 'kick'. icon_razz.gif

not a hasher, but I have tried this. It is amazing the way it feels chugging a cold one after a run. I hear it is healthy, but I just love it for the immediate gratification.
If I thought it weren't wrong somehow, I'd become a "hasher."
