In my experience, I found that a lot of guys do not like the word DATE
I don't know why but when we meet they don't ever use that word and I have even said, "lets' go on a date" and they say no, they rather call it meeting or hanging out or whatever. Is it because the stigma that the word date has? Is it really that bad? Opinions?

I think it's fine. But maybe it's easier for guys to say, "I've been hanging out with this guy." Rather than saying, "I've been dating this guy." When they're really interchangeable. I feel like it's kind of similar to how some men refer to their husbands or boyfriends as partners. I suppose it just allows for some ambiguity in their speech. Maybe they're embarrassed or they're just used to it.

Yeah I never got the partner vs bf husband thing
I mean come on, if a guy said he and his partner are doing something, I automatically think he's talking about his boyfriend icon_razz.gif

    Ohh sorry for being original

You want me to create another marriage, why am I single? racism, gay community, sex or would you date the guy above you thread?

At least I can think of different things to talk about then the repetitive, flame war threads.

By the way, do you ever contribute anything besides trying to be funny, witty or mean?
