At what age do gay men have their first serious relationship?

    On average.

Here in NYC, a lot of gay men that I meet seem to have had their first serious relationship in their late 20s, early 30s.

This might be different in other areas (for example, maybe in rural areas, gay guys might date one of the few other gay guys available, while in urban areas, there are so many "choices" available so many men delay a relationship).

When did you have your first serious relationship?

Depends to what extent the gay in question is "mature" as an individual (meaning they are secure enough in themselves and what they want) and how much they penetrate and are penetrated by youthful promiscuity culture. This culture is generally found more in urban areas.
