I've been thinking about doing one for months but I never got around to do it until recently. It's basically just where I vomit all the thoughts I had been collecting throughout the week, day, hours or minutes. I mostly want your opinions on the one I wrote today. I think it's good but I want your guys opinion. I was thinking about submitting it as an article to the HuffPost Gay Voices. If there's any typos I missed let me know:

The font size you used is a bit small. I don't feel that readers should have to adjust their screen in order to read your writing.

It does look like a little childish.

    Font size is very small.

The background and font color don't go well together. Makes it hard to read.
    I also wouldn't do a cursive font.

DEFINITELY change the colors, the font size, and the font. It looks like it'll be a hassle to read; but, I will, for you.

I'm trying to make it look kinda soft and feminine to off put the mini dissertations I write every post. I'm kinda hoping you'd be distracted by how pretty it is you won't care about the length. Lol sounds odd but I know people don't like reading.

I agree about the background color and the font color. I'd either darken the font or lighten the background (or both)

The font style is unique, but it might get hard on the eyes when the post is long.

    Good start though.

No, no, no. If you want to make it seem like the reader is doing less reading you don't "make it look soft and feminine", you break up the paragraphs more. That last paragraph is longer than an average paragraph. You could probably break that up into three sub-paragraphs.

Edit: Almost all your paragraphs are longer than they should be. Make them smaller. ESPECIALLY the last one. WAAAAAAAY TOO LONG!

That was a formatting error. I'm on my iPad and I tried breaking it up in HTML mode but it won't let me. It won't let me scroll down that far in compose mode. I've been trying to fix it for the past half hour.

Okay I just switched templates so it should be easier to read and I tried breaking up the paragraphs more. It finally worked!

Length is fine, paragraph breaks are better. Move the font size one point up.

I like it better with the normal font. Maybe bring back some of the decorative elements on the sides and header (not the salmon pink backdrop) and you should be good

What do you mean more PC terms for homosexual?

I'm worried about that second to last paragraph where I try to humanize the subject matter. I feel like I could make that shorter but I really love the imagery.

Nice post . As a fellow blogger I'm always up to read new bloggers. I'm no expert but I managed to pull in over 10K views with very little promoting because I mainly wrote for myself(though i need to get back into it since i took a long break). One friend found it and then he promoted and then it went on from there lol.

I think the most important thing to establish is your audience. I was writing for myself so it was easy but if you want to reach out to a specific group you'll have to find out their interest and cater to that.

Along with that, you have to keep your readers hooked. Blocks of paragraphs may normally turn people off from even trying to read through the post UNLESS you already established a loyal reader in them.

You may want to work on your template as well. Unfortunately first impressions are very important when getting a new reader and you want to keep them hooked long enough to read your content.

and I like some of the topics you covered, so I think you're on the right track but know that it may take some time to get solid readers. I had them and I abandoned them lol but here's my blog so you can get a sense of my style and see if you'd like to take any of it and apply it for yours

I read yours and its very interesting. Is it based off of fiction or are you forreal? Is it like a written TV show? I was kinda confused.
