Somebody might have already posted on this topic but...
Do we all say this? I catch myself saying it, and the guys I know say it too: "I'm not really into the gay things."
Woman simply is, man must constantly prove himself. I think that we, being attracted to men, feel the pressures of masculinity more strongly that other men do.
Which brings me to a recent thought: Screw it. Man simply is, and woman is not a threat.
    that's it.
    Angst.

It's only like it or doesn't like it.
There's no specific meaning to 'gay thing'

    I like what I like. I don't what I don't. I've never said I don't like gay things. (Mostly because I've never tried any)

Why does it have to be categorized as gay or straight?

Because everyone has a culture and we should not be made to feel embarrassed or ashamed of our culture.

I see it as the opposite but that's another thread.

I'm not into stereotypically gay nor straight things. The gayest thing I'm into is the gym. The straightest thing I'm into is the gym. ha!

Oh I seriously doubt that ... I use to feel that way many years ago myself before I came out and learned to accept the person I was and love what made me unique and wonderfu. As time went on I realized that ignorance and fear kept me from embracing and celebrating who I was. And if you don't like men, you are in the wrong place.

I'm into my own things.... I was into them long before I realized anything "gay" really. Some can be construed as gay related.. clothes, etc... some are not at all "gay like" (whatever that means). Sports addict, outdoor work, etc.

I don't really classify my interests into "gay or straight".. they are my own.

    I agree that men must continually prove themselves . . . as men . . .

TO THEMSELVES . . . and TO OTHER INSECURE "MEN".

Men who are secure, men who know that masculine relates to their security as a man and all that entails and, more importantly, what it does not entail (bullying, intolerance, infidelity), do not NEED to prove anything to anyone. Our natural, reflexive, ongoing actions are consistent evidence.

Agreed. No one should be shamed for their likes or dislikes.
