How important is it to squeeze your muscles when lifting?

    After a few months of just going through the motions without the squeeze, you will stop gaining size, because your muscles are so used to the same motion without the squeeze!


    You can probably get away with it if you're a beginner.

    Just because you get a pump without squeezing doesn't mean you're working them to get bigger!

    It's not very important at all. However, it is important to let someone else squeeze your muscles while lifting.
