For u, do u always see the glass half full or half empty? Do u go around with a positive healthy attitude making the most of what u have? Or do u see the unfairness in everything & all the "if onlys" then things would be better? Do u let life beat u down or do u always get up & keep on trying no matter what?......

Most of the time half empty. But whenever the chips are down, I often try to see the bright side and be grateful that the glass is only half empty, not totally empty.

Way too full. It's brimming over with hope and optimism. I just can't help but think bluer skies are on the horizon. It's nuts.

Not gonna lie, I'm a natural pessimist. I usually see the flaws in things in order to prepare for the worst case scenario. I'm type A, I like to plan ahead for the best possible outcome.

As Clare Boothe Luce put it: "The difference between an optimist and a pessimist is that the pessimist is usually better informed.”

But while I'm a pessimist I'm usually hopeful and resilient under adversity.

Half empty. Just provides motivation to fill it, so not so bad.

Half empty with booze to drink the blues away, the other half already drunk down.

I choose to be neither a pessimist nor an optimist. I choose to be a realist. It's basically 4 oz and nothing more and nothing less.

I hate when people tell me the glass is half empty! Why would you get yourself down, there are plenty of people that will do that for you! The glass is always half full, there is always a silver lining in something although it may be really hard to see sometimes.

Things are what you make them out to be so why not make them great!?

I am an extremely cautious optimist. An engineer would say that the glass is twice the size it needs to be.

I'm usually a "half full" guy, but every now and then something will get me down and cause me to think in a more negative manner.

I try to see it half full.

But then I realize, that it is always both. Just as there is always some good and some bad, never just one.

This question always confuses me a bit. If the glass is only half filled with water or some other liquid, the top half is filled with air. Even if there is no liquid at all, air as a gas will readily fill the "empty" glass. So if you really think about it, the glass is always full. Perspective icon_wink.gif

Yes, it's half full.. And half isn't so bad, half full or half empty is enough for most people..and there's still plenty to share.
