Any Aussies out there have tips, suggestions, thoughts or ideas for me? I'm going to be in Australia June 8-19th.

If anyone is interested in meeting up for a drink and stuff ;) let me know.

11 days, that's not a lot of time... what cities are you planning to visit?

I know, 11 days is fast, I'd stay longer if I could... Have to take time off work so that limits how long I can visit. I'll be in Melbourne, Sydney, & Brisbane.

I am in Melbourne. It's winter right now, not good for beaches, but if you are into skiing and have time, there are a few places around you can go to, like Mt Bulla, Falls Creek, etc

this website is always helpful to find out what is happening around the CBD. I assume that's where you are staying in Melbourne?

As it so happens, I am a transplant to brisbane and will be travelling as well. If you're in Sydney from the 9th-12th, let me know. I can also give you tips for Brisbane, if you haven't been there by that time.

11 days is not much time to visit 3 cities in Australia.

I assume that you are flying between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, which means that you will lose half a day on each trip too.

What sort of things do you like to see / do? Are you staying in the cities or do you want to get out and see more of the country?

I have lived in both Sydney and Melbourne, so I should be able to give you some advice. Feel free to PM me icon_smile.gif

Yeah the amount of time is not ideal, gotta balance time off work, cost, etc. I'm actually taking a train between each city, overnight, so that helps save.
