Been working out for a year and a half, I've recently noticed that my chest genetics suck! The only thing making it look big is because I have broad shoulders, probably from being overweight? Everyone in my family is skinny (130 lbs)..

How long did it take you guys to get a fully good developed chest?

I heard it takes years to get a good big cut chest, any tips? I've recently learne to squeeze the pec when doing flys and I felt the burn!

It was probably a good 2 to 3 years of solid working out before I got my full cleavage.. It was totally worth the work, so keep it up and you will get where you want... genetics mean something but not everything.

I feel for you. I'm hoping to gain muscle in my chest area as well. I'm not looking to bulk up too much; I'd just like to not be so flat there.

Yeah I'm still under the 2 year mark and I'm not that happy. Definitely made progress but have a ways to go.

It took me about 2 years from when I started working out. What type of chest exercises are you doing? If your stats are correct on your profile page at 5'9" and 145 lbs you're a bit underweight .

I'm 5'6" & 140lbs, and you can see the chest definition that I've achieved.
